Day 1

2014-12-10

Since I know that more and more favorite brands are from Stockholm, I like the city to the maximum extent. Unfortunately, the first day from London to Stockholm, cold, rainy, only two hours to go. There are many places to go on this journey, and there is not much time left for each place. Go ahead and watch.

Come out of the airport and first feel the green trees of northern Europe.

Go to the center of the city.

I was so hungry that I went into a hamburger shop and felt the high price in Nordic legend.

I like the city with water, full of spirituality. Summer should be especially beautiful.

We wanted to go to the palace, but the weather was bad, so we went wherever we went. This first to the old city, in the Old City Lane stroll is also excellent.

A sign to the old town.

After a bridge, it's cold.

A glass separates two worlds!

The window here is always very attractive!! Special attraction!!!

During the planned journey, all the cities we will pass will deposit our luggage at the railway station. This is also the first time to see such a complete city with various facilities! No matter how small the railway station is, there is a place for storing luggage for the convenience of passengers. Praise, praise.

Central Railway Station.

I was going to take a cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki, but unfortunately... We missed... So I changed the ticket, changed the boat once, and went to Helsinki as before. I heard that the ship Galaxy didn't go to Helsinki luxury, so I recognized it = experience it.

Room: the bed on the top can be pulled out, with its own bathroom. It's very convenient to take a bath.

Put on the entertainment hall, there is a band at night, but the singing is general@

I took pictures on the deck at night. I'm really afraid...

Day 2

2014-12-11

Helsinki is the capital of Finland. Although these cities are not impressive, the degree of modernization in northern Europe is still very high. Many parts of the city are covered with WiFi, and the popularization rate of English in northern Europe is also very high

Arrive at Helsinki central railway station

I'm so excited when the train arrives at the station! Take a picture with the platform!

The design of the train's exterior color feels like Christmas

Helsinki central station

This is outside the railway station. It's under maintenance

streetscape

I also regard these broken posters as a landscape~

The church was dug out from inside the rock, but everything seemed so natural. Modern and simple lines blend with natural rocks.

Modern man-made parts and natural scenery are integrated together

Inside the rock church,

The book of songs on the last row

It's so quiet inside the church. Just find a place to sit down and listen to a few songs. I'm satisfied.

Finland's largest wharf, there are some markets beside the wharf, selling some products made by local residents.

What a nice hat( How expensive

Just stroll around the dock and have lunch in a restaurant: fish   market

This restaurant has Christmas   Starters   Buffet, there are all kinds of fish, some are delicious, some are just   ha-ha.

Have a try on each one

The main course is berry sauce and salmon(   BTW, it's salmon here

Desserts, cranberry or rasberry are sour anyway

This is a landmark of Helsinki. You can see the light green top of the cathedral from a distance. When we went, there was a Christmas market in the square in front of the church and a carousel (free!), It's very warm.

The market under the church

Walking up the steps in front of the church is like going to another quiet world.

The children traveling are really colorful

By the Christmas tree and Santa Claus==

Day 3

2014-12-12

Northern Europe is really convenient and advanced everywhere. We took a sleeper train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. The train is a cubicle with a bathroom, an alarm clock and a small desk lamp at the head of the bed, and a towel.

This is the alarm clock at the head of the bed.

Finally we're going to see snow!

It's more than seven o'clock in the morning when we get to Rovaniemi. It's such a beautiful day! It's hard to be a little excited to see snow for the first time!!!

Road signs covered with snow

The main destination is Santa Claus Village. Ask about the bus route around, and wait in the snow@@

At nine o'clock in the morning, it was still dark outside, and teenagers who had to go to school got on the bus one after another.

I came to Santa Claus Village early in the morning, but it wasn't open yet( It's kind of like a shopping village

Uncle Xi

Look at the bus stop and see this Snowman like a duck

Santa Claus Village is really in the Arctic circle

The staff here will wear such a hat like an elf

The children are skiing on their own snow

Santa Claus is in this tall house!

It's said that underground will be wired: This is the Arctic Circle line!! Step over!!

The post office in the Arctic Circle is also a (old) elf

Santa Claus;)

This doorknob... I don't want to touch...

Kami as a transfer point

Brother Bing, sleeping on the train, heard from the local people that one of their tasks was to sweep snow...

Retro train carriage

I'm learning London   Under ground

There were only four of us going to our hotel. The driver took us to the door of the hotel...

Day 4

2014-12-13

We have to catch the bus at 7 a.m. from here to Kiruna to see ice   The hotel and the dog pull the sled

The Christmas tree in the hotel!

This little man-made river doesn't look interesting. It's one of the boundaries between Sweden and Finland

We're going norther and colder!

Kiruna is a lovely town. It's snowy (and not dirty). We live in the hotel in the center of the town. We can see Christmas trees and lights everywhere. It's cool and warm.

On the way to Kiruna! Cold; XXX

This is the view from our hotel (town center). It was very busy when there were many people. Now it's late

The famous ice   Hotel, it's said that it will be rebuilt every year because of the ice. This year is like ice   HOTEL   For the 25th anniversary, you can buy tickets to visit. It's a little expensive and cold if you live here!!!

Although it's covered with fur, I don't think it's effective...

Every room is different!!! It looks cool!! But it's really too cold!!!!!

This is ice   The shape of bar is blue

ICE   Appearance of hotel main building

ICE   Bar, it's all ice

MEnu

The cup finally appeared!!!

With drinks, it's like some kind of chemical

Day 5

2014-12-14

This is the hotel we stayed in Kiruna. The hotel is also open with its own bar. It's very busy at night. There are many people, but the food is very ordinary. In addition, it may be because the town is quite small. Anyone who comes into the bar can find someone they know and say hello!

Crystal of snow!!!

Breakfast in the hotel, ham and cheese are essential

I don't know what kind of meat sauce it is. Feel it on the bread for a good time!!

Little warmth

This is actually an English bar

The sled dog in Kiruna takes about 2 hours, and the price is similar in other places, but the sled dog passes through different places. This is a beautiful white forest! I went into the tent and had a cup of hot tea on the way!!

9 a.m. on the way to dogsled

In the middle of the slide, the sled stopped, went into the tent and sat down. The dogs also had a rest

This is a sled chair made by four of us

A tight little friend (risking his life.)

This is the district government of Kiruna. Good art!

Ordinary journey in snow

Day 6

2014-12-15

We went to abiscu to see the aurora. It was terrible to get off the train. It was dark at three o'clock, and there was a wilderness around. This has reached the Arctic Circle, surrounded by an observation station at an altitude of 900 meters. 900 meters is enough to cross the fog to a cloudless hillside.

We live in CYTS in Abisko. They walk every night   Tour takes us to sky   Go up the mountain to see the aurora

Shop assistant, how cute the beard is!

Put on the cold proof clothes provided by the observation station.. It's too swollen to walk

I said I was going to take the cable car. I thought it was nothing. I was shocked when I went up. There are no protective measures, just holding in front of your waist and stepping on your feet. When you go up, you should be aware of the wind from the top of the mountain and the small forest underground. You are a little worried and have no way back.

In fact, it was dark all around, and there was only the sound of wind on both sides of the ears.

I've been able to see some Aurora gradually. Today, it's not very strong. It's a little blurry with the naked eye. On the contrary, the camera is clearer.

This is the best picture we've taken in the whole night

I haven't seen many Aurora meteors clearly. I haven't seen so many stars!

Day 7

2014-12-16

On the penultimate day, I finally came to the big city, Oslo, the capital of Norway. The snow in the city is darker than that in the village, but it has a different flavor (children from the South)

The long lines of the Oslo Theatre

This is probably the business street in the center of Oslo. It's very close to the railway station and the CYTS where we live. Generally speaking, European cities are a concept of walking

It's rare to see such a black christmas tree

The windows of northern European cities are always warm.

Day 8

2014-12-17

The last day came to Copenhagen. We didn't plan any itinerary for the part of the city. We said that we could walk there. Just walk at will and feel the slow pace and unexpected surprise.

It is said that the bronze statue is very small, and it is indeed very small. Walk along the canal in Copenhagen City, walk into a big park, and then walk deep into the park to see her. In the morning, sitting quietly against the light is also chic.

As the last stop of the trip, Copenhagen is surprisingly enjoyable. Has it ever been rated as the most livable city in the world? when one makes a real achievement, he becomes known! And then I wandered around the city. Warm cafes, students and office workers who ride bicycles past you, warm sun, ah,

Street art

This is also a must go scenic spot, but we accidentally came to it, saying that the city is very small

The eight day trip to northern Europe, from the dog sled at minus 20 degrees to the stars and Aurora at the end of the world, to the warm town and slow-paced city life in northern Europe, really refreshed the impression. If you want to go on and see different scenery, you will have a "world outlook".
