Summer vacation time to find a cool place for summer, that is Nordic ~ as usual on a few pictures~
The natural scenery of Norway's self driving road is really beautiful!
Above is the Norwegian fjord
Lu Binghua can be seen everywhere
The bay is quiet and the sky is clear~
Driving to the sea by the side of a rented villa...
A pool of mountain streams~
The main church of nidalos in Trondheim, Norway, was built between 1070 and 1300. It is still the most important church in Norway~
The family trip lasted 25 days... The route is shown in the red line below...
Five people travel, three big and two small, transportation (big plane, small plane, taxi, bus, bus, sightseeing bus, train, ferry, car, electric scooter, etc.), accommodation (Hotel, apartment, villa), catering (restaurant ordering, supermarket purchasing and processing, roadside hot dog car, etc.), scenic spots (tickets, cable car tickets, etc.) and visa The total cost of overseas traffic package is about 130000 yuan. If calculated by five people, the average cost is about 26000 yuan per person.
This is our 25 day trip...
The first thing to do in travel planning is to determine major routes, compare prices, and book air tickets~~
It's better to go to northern Europe during the summer vacation. First of all, the season is suitable. It's neither cold nor hot. This time, in order to feel the "midnight sun" phenomenon, I went north to the "lovetown islands" in the Arctic circle. The picture below shows the "midnight sun" photographed by my mobile phone at the door of our rented villa at 12:00 p.m. local time... There will be aurora in July, and there will be opportunities to see aurora from September...
Summer in northern Europe is the peak season for tourists, but we don't think there are many people except for the concentrated urban centers and scenic spots, especially on the self driving roads in northern Norway...
In the past, I used to describe the traffic, residence and scenic spots separately. But this time, the route is long, so the description will be messy. So I will tell this travel story in chronological order
Because with the elderly and children, even I don't like long-distance flight, and try not to take overnight flight.
After comparing the length and price of flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xinjiang and other places to northern Europe, we finally scheduled the flight from Beijing to Moscow to Helsinki, which is the farthest flight from Beijing to Moscow. After taking off at 11:40 Beijing time, we need to fly for about 8 hours, stop in Moscow for 3.5 hours, do not leave the country, and transit within the airport, Another 2 hours flight, local time 20:10 arrived in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The return tax for adults is 5339 yuan, and that for children is 4563 yuan. Air tickets are reserved two months before departure. Generally, the price of air tickets will come out half a year to three months in advance. In winter and summer holidays, festivals and holidays, the earlier the ticket is, the cheaper it is.
This long-distance flight brought an "inflatable air cushion" that my brother put under his legs in the picture above. I bought it for 80 yuan. After deflation, it can be reduced to the size of a large handbag. After inflation, children will feel more comfortable when they put their legs down or take a nap. It is also used in self driving cars in Norway...
Take children to travel to do some preparation, such as folding cart, Bluetooth headset, download good story audio phone and iPad animation video... In public places like airplanes, trains, buses, airports and stations, you can turn on the stories in your mobile phone (you can listen to them online when you have Internet, and you can't listen to them downloaded when you don't have Internet). You can listen to them as much as you can. You can't use your iPad to show them cartoons for a while, but you also need to wear a Bluetooth headset. You can't listen to them in public places, It's noisy and hard to hear.
Folding carts can't be taken directly on most flights in northern Europe. When you check your luggage, you can handle "special size check" at a specific counter. However, some airlines need to occupy a baggage allowance, while others are free of charge. You can ask when you check this... Or you can push it to the boarding gate, fold it and give it to the flight staff at the cabin door. They will put it in the luggage compartment under the cabin. Of course, after getting off the plane, they need to wait at the cabin door for a while. The staff will go to the luggage compartment and take out the folding car for you. Remember to pick up the car and then go!
It's good to have a sister!
On July 29, at 7:30 in the morning, I fly from Dalian to Beijing for one and a half hours. It's convenient for China Southern Airlines to transfer to Russian Airlines in the same terminal; Then fly from Beijing to Moscow at 11:40, the longest flight, about eight hours, but eat, watch two movies, children sleep, it's time... Then change to the 18:20 flight and fly for two hours to Helsinki, Finland... The time difference between China and the Netherlands is five hours, that is, we left home at six in the morning, went through 15 hours of flight and two 6-hour airport transfers, and arrived in Helsinki around 1 a.m. Beijing time on the 30th, while the local time was more than 8 p.m. on the 29th. I feel a journey of "Kuafu chasing the sun" -- chasing the sun for a day...
There are few people entering the customs, so I don't have to wait in line. I have prepared my passport, visa form, insurance policy, itinerary sheet, hotel and car reservation sheet in advance (because my foreign languages - English, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish are not good, so I have printed all Hotel and car reservation sheets in advance and carried them with me.) Easy entry!
About transit in Russia: the flight from Beijing to Helsinki is a direct route for luggage. Our passengers get off the plane with their carry on luggage. We arrive at terminal D in Russia. There are "transit" arrows on the ground, or follow the crowd, but don't go to the entrance. There are "transit counters" of airlines 50 meters in front of the entrance, Only when you enter through the small gates behind the Transit counter is the transit security check. After you pass through the small gate with your boarding pass and passport for the next flight, you enter the bustling and slowly moving crowd... The security check place is very small. It's like a funnel. There are many people, and the line is very long. There are four or five teams. You don't have to worry about which team has few people. You can find a team randomly. In fact, there are two security checkpoints at the front. There is a counter in front of the security checkpoint, and you need to stamp a stamp on your passport (maybe a transit stamp)... Everyone is crowded in a small space, noisy, no team, all depends on their ability to jump in line... Friends who are short of transit time have to be bold to move forward as far as possible... The efficiency of the fighting nations is higher than that of the Buddhists. Friends who want to make a change should do it as soon as possible!
Helsinki:
The first stop is Helsinki. We only stay for three days and stay for two nights. After a long flight and another night, we take a taxi directly to the hotel. We need to take a large taxi, which is about 50% more expensive than the normal taxi price. It takes 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel, and the fare is 50 euro. Below is the route of the airport bus. Our hotel is across the road from Hesperian puisto station. Take the airport bus when you leave, wait for the bus at the platform, buy the ticket with the driver when you get on, show the sightseeing bus ticket and discount. Buses run every 20-40 minutes, about 6 euro per person, free for 0-6 years old.
Currency:
Cash: the four Nordic countries use different currencies. Finland uses euro. Sweden, Norway and Denmark all use local krona, that is, Swedish krona, Norwegian Krona and Danish krona. There is a currency exchange counter in the arrival and departure hall of the airport, which can exchange euro, US dollar and various krona. The ATM can also extract local currency, but it basically does not support UnionPay, The four Nordic countries are now implementing non monetization, that is, they can swipe their cards everywhere, and even the public toilets in scenic spots need to swipe their cards to open their doors... So you can take a little euro and US dollar cash at home, go to the local airport or change a little spare, and the unused cash when you leave the place will be changed into the currency of the next country in the departure hall... Nearly a month of travel down is basically credit card consumption, little cash.
Credit card: it's necessary to bring one for visa and one for master, because sometimes the swipe channel may not work, so you need to change the card. Chip card is easy to use, and magnetic stripe card can't be used sometimes... UnionPay can't be used in most parts of the four Nordic countries!!
Stay in Scandic Park Helsinki standard twin room at 750 yuan per night
Although the location of the hotel is not in the center of the city, it is only two bus stops away from the railway station in the center of the city. The airport bus has a stop at the gate of the hotel, opposite to the park. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the railway station by the lake. The room is also clean, but there are a lot of people living in it. The front desk is a little slow...
Special reminder, about checked luggage: when you go out to pack your luggage, you'd better take the things you need in one or two days with you as far as possible to board the plane. The things in the checked luggage need to be used at least two or three days later, because if you fly from home to abroad, if there are several connecting flights, the luggage will not keep up with people! This time, we were delayed for nearly three hours when we took off in Beijing due to the weather. Although the captain came back for half an hour during the long flight, our transfer time in Moscow changed from three and a half hours to only one hour. Our passengers could run and squeeze quickly to catch up with the next flight, but our direct luggage couldn't catch up... Therefore, after arriving in Helsinki that night, we need to go to the counter of the corresponding airline next to the airport baggage carousel to register our checked baggage, fill in a form (indicating the flight number, baggage number, baggage specification, color, characteristics and other information), and leave the local address, contact number, etc, Our luggage is directly delivered to the front desk of the hotel by the airline the next day. We go out during the day and go back to the hotel at night. We can pick up the luggage directly from the front desk and go back to the room.
Because it was more than 9 p.m. local time when we arrived at the hotel, we woke up naturally the next morning without jet lag. Breakfast is in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. There are a lot of people. When you walk out of the hotel after dinner, there is the largest green park in the city across the road. There are wild black swans, white swans, wild ducks, wild geese and so on...
The facilities are very simple, but the advantage is that no one plays. You can play as long as you want...
Walk along the lake towards the city center, which is the direction of the railway station...
You can walk for about 15 minutes to have public facilities for children's activities... This should be a suitable facility for children of school age. There are still larger facilities for children of young age...
The hotel seurahune Helsinki is on the right side of the road. There is a counter on the first floor to buy sightseeing bus tickets. The nearest bus stop is just opposite the railway station and at the entrance of the art museum. The sightseeing bus can be cycled for many times within the effective time. You can get on and off at any station, and you can also take the bus in the city for free.
The biggest advantage of taking the sightseeing bus is that there are explanations in Chinese, which are easy and interesting. It's very recommended!
The picture above is Helsinki Cathedral. I took it on the second floor of the sightseeing bus, which is a big stop here...
Finland National Art Museum, various museums and art galleries have free service areas for backpacks, coats and trolleys. Most venues are not accessible by backpack.
If we have time in our itinerary, I will try my best to take the children to the museums and art galleries in every city... My sister likes art museums, my brother likes museums...
This kind of "sharing electric scooter" is very convenient. You can use your mobile phone to trace the QR code on the beam of the handlebar, download and register it, and connect it with a credit card. It has a Chinese interface, but the price is not cheap. If it's a few people, it's the same as a taxi... It's very convenient and interesting to ride. There are animations in the mobile phone program to demonstrate how to ride... Power and braking are controlled on the handle.
Walk right from the hotel to the National Museum of Finland for about 15 minutes,... This is the entrance...
In addition to the historical exhibits, there is a children's interactive area on the top floor. There are many facilities that children can try...
The loom - it's like a blanket loom...
This is the domestic stone grinding plate... Little kids can push... The picture below is a conveyor belt at work. Let children feel the way workers work on the assembly line... My sister always said, "it's good to be a worker."... But after trying for a while, he said, "it's boring to be a worker."... My younger brother is not qualified as a worker, so there is no time to pick it up...
Kids, if you try every project, it will take hours...
From the museum, turn right and walk up the slope for 15 minutes to the rock church...
The entrance to the rock church is very inconspicuous, but it is already a place where local tourists gather. You can see it at a glance...
Just look at the name. This church is the only one built in the rock in the world. I don't know how to appreciate it. Just pass by and come here... There's a choir practicing. It's nice...
Helsinki City Center is not big, commercial center and scenic spots are relatively concentrated, few people, slow pace of life place...
On the third day to Helsinki, we will fly to Stockholm, Sweden at 16:25 on July 31. Because Finland and Sweden have one hour time difference, our flight time is also one hour, so the arrival time is the same as the departure time, which is still 16:25 of local time. This time the four northern European countries came down, the children had a deeper understanding of the "time difference", "earth rotation" and "the angle of the sun shining on the earth"...
About self-service check-in: most flights in northern Europe can be self-service. On the self-service airport of the airport ticket hall - click the airline you are on - enter the flight reservation number - the passenger will appear on the display (all personnel of the same reservation list will be displayed together), click on all ticket handlers - select whether you need to print the baggage check-in slip (remember whether the ticket purchased includes the baggage check-in amount, if not, You can go to the counter to buy it on the spot. The machine will automatically print out the simple paper boarding pass and luggage strip, stick the luggage strip to the checked luggage, put the luggage with the luggage strip on the checked conveyor belt, and scan the bar code on the checked strip with the scanner, then the conveyor belt will take away your luggage... The children scrambled to operate the whole process...
There are also manual counters, which need to be handled in line. There are few self-help people. Children also like this way of doing things by themselves.
Our flight seats are selected in advance on the airline's official website. In foreign countries, some airlines require passengers to pre select their own seats on the official website. They forget which company they are. It seems that they remember that if they check in at the airport's manual counter, they still need to pay extra service fees... And we have five people in our party. We need to sit together. We'd better deal with it on the official website in advance and reserve adjacent seats. Therefore, if there is not too much difference in the price of overseas flights, I usually make reservations on Ctrip. I have a special request with Ctrip customer service. They will choose the position we want on the official website (with children, we need to sit in a row) at the first time after the opening of flight seat selection (most northern European airlines will open their official website self-service check-in 22-24 hours before departure), This service is amazing!!
Helsinki flies to Stockholm on Norwegian airlines. There is no food, but there is a check-in amount. The average person is 426 yuan.
Norwegian airlines can be regarded as a low-cost airline. Their planes are well recognized. There are some Norwegian "celebrities" painted on the tail of the plane. The people who can get on the tail of the plane are famous, including some well-known people, such as the Navigator "Christopher Columbus" and the statesman and scientist "Benjamin Franklin"...
Stockholm:
Stockholm airport is far away from the city. It's about 50 minutes' drive. It's still early in the afternoon when we arrive. We choose to take the airport bus to the bus terminus of central station in the city center. Airport bus tickets can be purchased at the "tourist center" service desk on the right side of the airport arrival hall. The ticket price is $99 SEK, and you can also get on the bus. But getting on the bus is more expensive. The ticket price is $119 SEK, and you can only pay by credit card. You can drive 24 hours a day and leave every 10-15 minutes.
There is the same train route to the central station in the center of the city. The price is cheaper and the time is about the same. But because of the language barrier, it's too troublesome to drag luggage and children into and out of the train platform. As the old saying goes, it's a rich and poor family...
The airport bus stops at the overpass above the railway station. After walking to the side of the road, turn left and go straight to our hotel, which is also the most famous commercial street in Stockholm... There will be some "black car" drivers who do not have passenger transport license. They will come here to solicit customers enthusiastically and ignore them!! Regular taxi drivers will not get off the bus to solicit passengers. They will wait in line at the gate of the bus terminus on the left.
It's about 15 minutes' walk from the railway station to the pedestrian mall, which is our hotel here——
Kamper by Scandic classic twin room in Campbell Center
Behind the hotel is the commercial pedestrian street, the hotel is relatively new, the room is very clean, there is a big bay window, children like it very much.
The restaurant of the hotel is on the first floor and the second floor. The hanging net leisure area is open in the afternoon. In the morning, there will be coaches to guide simple physical exercises. Friends who get up early can go and feel it...
For the next day's sightseeing tour, the ticket also includes a sightseeing bus and a city boat as the means of transportation. First, take a tour of the scenic spots on land, and then take a tour of the scenic spots on water...
The ticket for the sightseeing bus on Ctrip is 219 yuan, but I didn't buy it in advance. There are two companies and two routes operating the sightseeing bus at the red dot above, especially at the stations around the railway station, It can be selected after on-site comparison. This route I chose is closer, and the other one seems to be farther...
The chapel on the sidewalk... It's not big, but the stained glass inside is very nice...
Stockholm City Hall——
At present, the city hall is still the office space normally used by the government, so if you want to enter the interior, you must buy tickets at the service desk and participate in the temporary tour group with "commentators" who leave regularly... There is a tall and handsome boy at the service desk who can communicate in Chinese. There are different languages to choose from in different periods. English is the most, half an hour a wave, but Chinese is less. There are only four periods: 10:00, 10:30, 11:30 and 14:30. We didn't catch up and didn't want to wait, so we followed the English group around... SEK 120 for adults, SEK 40 for children...
While listening to the explanation, I took a picture. After half an hour, I found red hall, white hall, golden hall and so on. My English was not good, I didn't understand it very well... Every year the Nobel dinner is held here... Golden Hall... It's all gold and platinum!
Vasa shipwreck Museum -- Vasa is an ancient warship of the 17th century. It is more than 300 years away from today. It is well preserved because after three years of construction, it sailed for the first time and sank not far from the port... At that time, there was no salvage technology. It was not until 1961, when the world was peaceful and science and technology developed, that it was salvaged and repaired completely, and a museum was built... At that time, bad things have become good things. Now it is an important scenic spot in Stockholm...
The museum is on the island, so you need to take a boat. The sightseeing boat has a stop here, but you need to calculate the return time. The sightseeing boat seems to finish earlier than the last boat. There is a schedule for getting off the boat. You should pay attention to it. The admission fee is SEK 150 for adults. It is said that the video room on the first floor has a documentary in Chinese, but only in fixed time. We didn't meet it when we went there. There is a Chinese guide book near the entrance...
I thought there was something to see about an old wooden sunken ship. Just come in and have a look when you pass by. But it's really shocking. It's really great to build such a beautiful and big wooden ship 300 years ago! The carved figure decoration on the ship is the same size as life!
Due to the limited holiday time, the most important part of this trip is in Norway, so Stockholm, which arrived on July 31, only visited one day on August 1, and the flight at 13:20 noon on August 2 flew to the northernmost city of this trip, Tromso... Mainly for the "lovetown islands"!
Tromso, 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, is one of the northernmost cities in the world. The temperature is below 0 ℃ for five months in a year, and it snows for nearly half a year... The lovetown islands are like this in winter... Beautiful ice free harbor + Aurora... But there will be polar night in winter, with only two or three hours of sunshine, which is too depressing... Summer is another scene! Every July, there is also the phenomenon of extreme day. When we go there, it only sets for two or three hours, so that my younger brother is very puzzled at first. Why is it that he is very sleepy and it is not dark, and it is dawn before he has enough sleep???
After arriving at Stockholm airport, I have another look at the self-service printed boarding pass, luggage tag, luggage tag, and checked luggage... Sister and brother are busy... I had to snatch other people's luggage to help check it...
The two nearest airports with passenger flights to the "lovetown islands" are "bode" in the south of the islands. After landing, the airport rents a car and takes a ferry to the islands, but only the domestic line from the Norwegian capital "Oslo"; The other airport is Tromso in the north. In addition to the domestic route, there is also the only international route from Stockholm. Due to the time factor, I gave up Oslo, the capital of Norway, and flew directly from Stockholm to Tromso. I rented a car from the airport and went south to the lovetown Islands...
On August 2, Stockholm flew to Tromso at 13:20 and arrived at 15:10. The airport was very small, and the car rental counters of various brands were just beside the exit, as shown in the figure below...
There are different brands of car rental companies at one counter. I reserved a Volkswagen Passat travel version with 5 seats in advance (the luggage space is larger than ordinary jeeps), automatic transmission, all risks insurance, unlimited mileage, full prepayment in advance, 3-day rental period (calculated every 24 hours), and the rental fee is 3977 yuan. It costs 820 yuan to refuel in three days. According to Nordic traffic regulations, my younger brother must sit on a "safety seat" or a "height pad". I brought a "wall height pad" that I bought for more than 100 yuan. If I rent a height pad from a car rental shop, the price varies from car rental shop to car rental shop, which is about 50-80 yuan... The following is our car for the past three days, 80% new...
When returning the car, just before arriving at the airport, go to the nearby gas station to fill up the gas. The gas station has a simple self-service bucket and brush, which can clean the dirty appearance of the car. When I drive to the airport, park in the corresponding brand parking area when I pick up the car, and return the car key to the front desk in the airport hall. Because I buy all risks insurance, I basically don't need to check the car, You can go straight to check in...
The parking lot on the right side of Tromso airport hall is the parking area of various car rental companies. Several car rental brands park here in different areas...
When the plane landed, it was about 3:30 p.m., I picked up my luggage, went through the car rental procedures, and went to the parking lot to find the car... Around five o'clock, let's go! Drive straight to the destination ~ ~ Yes! Far away! But fortunately, it's the extreme day time, and it won't be dark until 1:00 in the middle of the night!
Like in China, it's also on the right side. Although the road is not wide, there are few cars and the scenery is good. There is only one E10 Road, so you can't drive the wrong way! The picture below is around 8:00 p.m. local time...
The lovetown islands are small islands that wear together... Many bridges...
Multiple tunnels...
Supermarkets in Nordic towns close earlier. Some supermarkets close at 6 or 7 p.m. and close earlier on weekends. Therefore, we should buy dry food and put it on the car as soon as possible in advance!!
The next 10 days of travel are car rental and self driving, you can purchase a large number of! You can eat and drink at any time in the car, such as bread, rolls, sausages, juice, etc... At night, you can cook your own meat, eggs, rice, vegetables, of course, oil, salt, garlic, sauce, etc... Our Chinese stomachs need to be appeased!
It's near the residence, the seaside at 10 p.m...
At more than 10 p.m., we arrived at our two night villa by the sea!
The purpose of coming to the lovetown islands is to bring the children to experience the "midnight sun" for themselves. In this place, the whole July of summer is in the state of extreme day...
The picture above is the midnight sunshine I took at the door of our villa at midnight... Every day to sleep, we must close the curtains, or just sleep for a while, more than two o'clock in the morning, it will be daybreak!! My younger brother was confused by the never setting sun when he lived for a few days. He told me that he was so sleepy. How could he sleep without dark...
This beach villa costs 2739 yuan per night. Three bedrooms, two bathroom, living room, kitchen + invincible sea view! The room needs self-service use. The bed sheets and quilt covers need to be rented separately. Each set is about 110 yuan, and we need to set them by ourselves. We didn't rent them. I brought three sets of travel bed covers myself. In this way, several B & B that need to be rented separately will save the cost. Before departure, I have to compare with myself. There are several places that need to pay, and some are free. I have five places that need to pay all the way down, and the total cost of nearly 2000 yuan is saved. Three sets online are about 300 yuan in total...
The room check-in is basically self-service. When you arrive at the villa, confirm the arrival time with the room in advance. The owner will send a password to your mailbox and use the password to open the password box beside the door of the utility room. There will be a key to the villa door, so you can open the door and check in... When you check out, the room should be cleaned a little, the used tableware should be cleaned by yourself, the garbage in the room should be taken out of the room, all the windows of the villa should be closed, the original state should be restored as far as possible, the door of the villa should be locked, and the key of the villa should be put back into the password box at the door of the sundries room...
The cottage is at the seaside. Although it's a bit remote, there are four or five villas of the same size next to it. The gas station, supermarket and restaurant are in a small town with driving for more than ten minutes... There are rope skipping, football, water boots, etc. in the villa, which may be left by short-term renters. The children just borrowed them when they went to the sea...
The villa we live in is downhill to the seaside...
The sea water is super clear!! Like a stream...
I saw alkaline plants by the sea for the first time. They are very thick! Soft, like a mattress! And it's slippery, and it's a little dangerous...
What do you see in the clear water above? There are sea urchins, rainbow, starfish, conch... The water boots are worn by the children. I only go into the water barefoot. The water is a little cold and can persist, but I should be very careful not to step on those thorny sea urchins every step!!
A rainbow the size of the palm of an adult's hand... The kitchen appliances and tableware are complete, but you have to clean them yourself after using them, otherwise you will be punished for a large cleaning fee... Even the garbage has to be taken out of the house and put in a unified dustbin...
Starfish and sea urchins are not very good at it... Catch up to play for the children for a while, and then put back into the water, I don't know if I can live..
The next day, when I woke up, I was ready to go south...
A car in a small town...
Take a picture by the side of the road...
With a shot...
Like a man in a picture...
In addition, especially about the "water bottle recycling" in northern Europe!! Children all the way to see the empty water bottle than toys are important!!
Especially in Norway!! There is an automatic water bottle recycling cabinet at the door of each supermarket. Empty water bottles (must be empty!) Put it upside down in the cabinet, it will be recycled after scanning the barcode on the bottle body inside!! We tried several kinds of empty bottles, generally only plastic bottles, round, square, but there must be a bar code that can be scanned! Glass and paper shell materials do not accept!!
After multiple empty bottles are scanned to confirm recycling, press the "confirm button" on the machine, and then the machine will automatically print out a recycling confirmation sheet, which will display the quantity and amount of empty bottles you have recycled this time, like 1 yuan for small bottles and 3 yuan for large bottles... You take this small ticket to the supermarket to buy goods and hand it to the cashier when you check out, which can directly offset the corresponding amount of shopping!!
I didn't live enough in the seaside cottage for three days and two nights, but the time was limited, so I had to leave...
The children keep saying that they want to go again...
Stay in Tromso for the last night before leaving the lovetown islands, so you can easily go to the airport the next day...
Tromso Lodge & Camping two bedroom luxury cottage, two smaller bedrooms, a bathroom, living room and kitchen are also smaller, 1781 yuan per night...
It's a car camp with compact rooms. It's located in the outskirts of the city. It's convenient for self driving. You can park at the door of the cabin. You don't have to worry about the intricate paths in the city, but there are no children's entertainment facilities...
There is a clear stream in the park...
On August 5, the fourth day after arriving in the lovetown islands, I woke up naturally in the morning, ate my own breakfast, cleaned up my room (I have formed the habit of cleaning up my room), drove from the camp to the airport for about 20 minutes, filled up the gas at the gas station near the airport, and parked the car back to the parking area, Return the car key to the rental counter and you can check in...
The northbound flight in Norway is from Tromso to Trondheim at 14:10. The flight of Nordic Airlines is one and a half hours, 794 yuan per person. 22 hours before the departure, the first time when the official website of the airline company opened the check-in, the customer service staff of Ctrip helped us to select the location and send the boarding information to my mailbox. This service is really convenient!!
The children are busy with self-service printing boarding pass, luggage strip - binding luggage strip - self-service scanning code to check luggage... I'm so busy!!
Trondheim
Fly to Trondheim around 4 p.m. again, first thing, pick up the car!!
In this section, we have also reserved a 5-seat auto Passat travel car in advance, which has all risks, unlimited mileage and can be returned from other places (all the way down to Bergen Airport). The rental period is 9 days (24 hours a day), totaling 7677 yuan.
The bus company will send the information about the pick-up address in advance, or the airport will come out to follow the directions. It is not in the hall, but a cabin at the entrance of the right parking lot, which is full of service counters of the car rental companies... Go through the formalities and drive away in the parking lot!
About half an hour's drive from Trondheim airport to the city, you will take the toll highway... In Norway, when you drive on a toll road, you automatically scan and charge. In the end, you deduct money from the credit card you leave when you rent a car. Even in some cities, this is the same operation for the underground or ground parking lot. There is no manual charge. When you enter and exit, you will be automatically scanned and charged. Finally, it will be counted into our credit card...
There is also this roadside parking meter. This machine is on the roadside of the cathedral. It seems that it can only buy a parking ticket for three hours at most. First insert a credit card that can deduct foreign currency, and then take out the card. It seems that there is a prompt. Then operate it, select the parking time you want to buy, confirm, deduct, issue the ticket, and put the printed ticket in the front windshield, If you can see it from the outside, you can lock the car and leave...
Parking in a larger city or small town center has to be paid in many places. For example, there is a Pay sign like the one above on the roadside or in the parking lot. It means that you need to pay from 8:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday and from 8:00 to 15:00 on weekends. Other times are free, but you can only park for 3 hours at most...
The main church of nidalos in Trondheim is the most important church in Norway. Built around 1070-1300, tickets 80 NOK...
The carving of the outer wall is very delicate and vivid...
The interior is also a normal church. There will be evening classes in the evening. It is also the church most used by the Norwegian royal family during important celebrations...
There is such a note at the door. I don't understand what it means. Friends with good English can read it...
In order to stay for a visit to the church, I stopped on my way that day and stayed in Trondheim for one night...
I stayed in Scandic lerkendal Trondheim, Scandic lerkendal, Trondheim, and reserved two family double rooms with breakfast at 814 yuan per night...
The hotel is relatively new. Although the location is not a special center, it's very convenient for us to drive. It's a rare high building in the city. The stadium is downstairs. The view is very good... The entrance and the interior are paid parking areas... The few parking spaces on the side of the hotel are free in the evening, but it seems difficult to get them... The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel seems to be quite famous in the local area. It is very popular. There is a hamburger shop in the shopping mall on the right side of the building... But they all close early... Maybe it's not too early, but every day when we were there, it was only after ten o'clock in the evening that we began to feel at night. It was still bright when all kinds of stores closed at seven or eight o'clock in the evening ~ ~ so, it always gave us the illusion that they closed very early...
The indoor area is not big, but it is fully functional and clean. Each room has two high and low beds, but if only two people are reported to live in, it's not very nice. It's all messed up...
On August 6, after sleeping and waking up naturally, I went all the way north. Today's scenic spot is "Atlantic highway"!!
Norway's "Atlantic highway" is composed of eight small bridges, each of which passes through an island. The 8.72 km long highway connects the coast closely...
Norway Atlantic road is called "the road to heaven". When you come here, you seem to come to the end of the sea and the sky...
The most famous bridge is called storseisundetbrua, which is a very awkward name. From a certain point of view, it seems that the vehicles on the way to the top of the bridge all fall into the sea...
My brother climbs the mountain very hi!
In Norway's self driving route, except for detours and tunnels, there are ferries...
Basically, as long as you drive to the next destination on the same day, there will be sections that need to be crossed!
All the way down, the ferries took big, medium and small boats... The largest one is five stories high, one below the ship deck (lift part of the board to enter from a downhill), one above the ship deck and one above the ship deck (drive up from an uphill on the side), three floors for parking, two floors on the ship deck with dining room, toilet and rest area, and one above the ship deck is the cockpit (non staff are not allowed to enter)... The middle ferry stops on the deck. On the first floor, there is an indoor dining room, a toilet and a rest area. On the next floor, there is a cockpit. There are three floors... The smallest ferry we've ever been on has only two floors. The deck is surrounded by a parking area. In the middle is an indoor dining room, toilet and rest area. The upper floor is the cockpit...
On the ground of the wharf, there are signs of waiting in line for ships in turn. Before boarding, staff will come to sell tickets. The tickets of each car include a driver, and other passengers on the car need to buy additional tickets... The price varies according to the sailing distance of the ferry. It seems that we have experienced at least ten minutes, more than thirty or forty minutes... At least 100-200 kronor per car, 30-60 kronor per person...
When buying tickets by swiping card, the staff all have mobile swiping card machines. We only have magnetic stripe cards, which can also be used. But it seems that it's more convenient to use chip cards. I don't see anyone using cash...
The length of this section of tunnel will be marked on the roadside at the entrance of the tunnel in Norway. If there is "inner ring island" in it, there will also be icon prompt...
Also remind you, Norway self driving road, there will be a "tunnel around the island"!!! And the signal in the tunnel is probably not good, your mobile navigation, GPs may not be able to respond in time!!! So before entering the tunnel, if you see the sign "there is a roundabout inside" at the entrance of the tunnel, you must immediately confirm which exit to turn to, that is, the number of crossroads to get out of the roundabout... There's no parking space inside. You can't stop to think. And once you go wrong, there's no possibility of turning around before you get out of the tunnel...
Well, the tunnel around the island is my biggest tension point. Besides, ferry, bridge, Panshan road.... It's easy to drive!
Beautiful scenery all the way!
Comfortable temperature!
Unusual scenery!
And the animals that often appear!!
It's just that the road is a little narrow... Most of the traffic is single lane...
On the evening of the 6th, I stayed in the characteristic hut of Norway - thatched cottage!
Hustadvika guesthouse - by classic Norway hotels, hustadvika guesthouse has two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and parking at the door. It costs 1691 yuan per night...
Hotel location is not on the road, to turn to the seaside path... There's a good restaurant with a lot of people, but our Chinese stomach is the most comfortable...
Kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, one bathroom, parking at the door... not bad
On August 7, when you wake up naturally, you should eat your own breakfast and clean up your kitchen utensils (all used utensils such as B & B, apartment and hotel with kitchen utensils need to be cleaned up by yourself!) Back out of the room, it's already noon, starting to the next destination - galenwell fjord!!
Take a long walk - stop - look - clap...
At the beginning of August, when it's sunny at noon, it's about 20 degrees, but if it's cloudy, it's only about 10 degrees... The sun is good, but the water is still a little too cool...
There are good-looking, fun, interesting places to park and go around... This is the biggest advantage of self driving tour!!
Through the "road of the elves" and the "road of the eagles."... Norway's famous 11 hairpin bends... The section of spirit road is only open to traffic from May to October.
The top of the mountain is hidden in the clouds all the year round...
In the evening, we arrive at the view villa ~ fjord view ~ where we will stay for two nights at 2336 yuan per night...
Four bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, a large dining room and a modern kitchen with a full set of high-end facilities, an all-in-one washing and drying machine, a large balcony, and large French windows make it a beautiful view to look up!!
Towel and bedding are rented for 88 yuan per set. We didn't rent them. We brought them with us...
There's a small unprotected swing on the back hill... Several villas around are relatively new. Only one or two are occupied. It's ten minutes' drive from the small town of supermarket, restaurant, drugstore, gas station and wharf...
Villa for good scenery, built in the hillside... Xiaoshizi Road, if it's winter, it may be hard for a car to get up...
I stayed for two nights and went north...
August 9...
The cattle and sheep walking out of the roadside farm don't know how to hide from the car. The driving friends can only follow them slowly as I do...
Up and down the Panshan road... When you take a picture, it's all scenery!!
Just beside the highway, you can see a corner of the josteda glacier...
Book two rooms at L æ rdal ferie og fritidspark Hotel, at 678 yuan per night... Car camp form... At the time of reservation, there was no two bedroom family room, only the simplest and smallest economy room. Because the room was too small, each room could only accommodate two people, so I could only reserve two rooms...
The room is super small, the bathroom is super small, there are public kitchen and dining room...
The biggest reason for staying here for one night is that there is a large children's playground in this car camp!! There are some children's activity facilities for children to play!!
Tricycle, Quad, trampoline, slide, stake, activity stake, climbing facilities and so on, are free, just play!
The kids don't want to go... There are supermarkets and restaurants within two minutes' drive... It seems that there are paid activities like boating and fishing, but we only stay for one night, so we don't have to ask more...
August 10, there are showers today...
Today, the shortest route can take a 24 km tunnel, but I chose another mountain highway, the old highway on Mount ayulan, because I can pass the stegastein. If it's a sunny day, the scenery will be great!! It's a pity that the day we passed was a rainy day...
The sheep on the side of the road can only be seen from a distance. It tastes great when they come near, and they should also pay attention to the sheep dung everywhere...
Drive 200 km, 3 hours to Voss... By the way, does it remind you of Davos?
On the same day, I stayed in the two bedroom cabin of "Voss resort bavallstunet" for 1996 yuan per night... There are two bedrooms, one is a double bed, the other is two high and low beds, a total of four beds, a bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, parking at the door...
Sheets, pillowcases need to pay rent, a set of 120 yuan (can be used for many days)... We bring our own travel sheets, which saves the cost. If we stay for a long time, it's OK to rent one set, but we only stay for one night, so it's too expensive to rent... The resort is on the mountain. The food should be bought in the supermarket at the foot of the mountain before going up the mountain. The tableware used before leaving should be cleaned up by oneself. The garbage should be taken out of the house and put into a unified dustbin...
Sitting on the small platform at the door of the room, looking at Voss town in the distance... It has the fresh smell of grass, flowers and trees...
On August 11, I woke up naturally, ate my breakfast, cleaned up the dishes and garbage, and set out!!
Worth is not a big town. There is a big waterfall 15 minutes' drive away from the town. Of course, it's not as spectacular as our Huangguoshu, but it's still fresh... There will be signs of scenic spots on the roadside, or you can find them by checking the map of your mobile phone...
Above is the public toilet upstream of the waterfall... Go to the toilet and watch the scenery... There's a parking area where you can park, walk to the top of the waterfall and look down... From here, you can drive down the s mountain road to the downstream of the waterfall, or you can walk from the small forest on the right side of the waterfall to the downstream of the waterfall... But the stone steps are steep. It's a bit dangerous for old people and children to walk down. My sister and brother fell down...
Continue to move forward. When we are about to reach "hadanwer fjord", there is a cable car spot on the side of the road. Seeing that today's journey is not long and the weather is good, we decided to take the cable car to the mountain to see what there is... It's really common to see this cable car on the side of the mountain. If I didn't see a lot of cars in the parking lot, I would have missed it... Moreover, the cable car ticket is still relatively expensive. For a round trip, the adult ticket is NOK 520, the sister ticket is NOK 270, and the brother ticket is free... There are parking lots on both sides of the road... I'm sorry, I really don't remember my name...
But fortunately, we decided to take the cable car up the mountain to have a look... The angle of the second half of the cable car is very exciting!! Feel a bit straight up and down! And on a sunny day, it's really beautiful when you look at the "hadowell fjord" on the mountain!!
Free travel is such a benefit, inadvertent surprise, accident and coincidence, are worth recalling the wonderful experience!!
Foreigners play crazy... Someone parachuted at the top of the mountain ~ ~ no, it's paragliding... Sorry, I don't like sports. I'm a little confused about these extreme sports...
After going up the mountain, I know why the cable car ticket is so expensive, because the price of 520 kroner includes not only the cost of the round-trip cable car, but also the cost of the "hadanwer National Park" on the top of the mountain. After taking the cable car to the top of the mountain, it's only half the journey, and you need to walk to the mountains for a while. It seems that you can see more beautiful scenery or glaciers... But we are too lazy to move forward, and we see many foreigners carrying big bags to the mountains, and many people carrying "climbing sticks". I think the journey to Qianli is still a little difficult...
One hour after the downhill drive, you will arrive at the small town of "hinsevik" where you will stay for the day...
The town gas station meets the locomotive party to refuel... On the road of self driving in Norway, I often see foreigners riding large motorcycles... However, local traffic regulations stipulate that such motorcycles and bicycles are not allowed to enter the tunnel. When encountering tunnel sections, they can only take Panshan road or ferry... It's fine on sunny days, but it's not windy on rainy days...
Five people will live in "hardangerpark as RV camp, mobile home (RV) room type" tonight, 1361 yuan per night... By the way, we have to pay for the bed sheets and pillows. Of course, we bring them, but we don't rent them...
In recent years, after the self driving in New Zealand, Australia and Northern Europe, children always apply for self driving in the hope of renting a car. I explained to them several times that renting a car looks good, but there are many problems. First, the rental price is much more expensive than the car; Secondly, the car body is too big, and I'm the only one driving the whole journey. It's really hard and dangerous; Besides, the RV is not as casual and comfortable as it looks. Foreign traffic regulations stipulate that all the people in the RV should sit on the seats, not lying on the bed or sitting on the sofa... The RV should also be parked in the car camp as far as possible, connected to the water, recharged and discharged to the toilet, etc... The thermal insulation and sound insulation of the RV are not very good. It's absolutely not as comfortable as a hotel room in the evening...
But because the children have mentioned it many times, this time I made a special reservation for this RV camp, and I found a RV for one night to let the children feel the feeling of the RV, but they have been "ignorant yearning"...
The RV I ordered is a trailer. The campsite operator fixed the RV in one place. Each RV is followed by a room. This room is the living room, dining room and simple kitchen. The "small white door" on the wall behind the dining table in the figure above is the entrance of the RV. There is a big double bed in the RV, two groups of people can get on and off the bed, and six people can sleep... In fact, the sofa in the living room can also be used as a bed. My mother slept on the black sofa in the picture above that night, which is wider than the single bed in the RV...
It's a mid-range saloon. The interior decoration is OK... Let the children experience all kinds of facilities in the RV, and know that the kitchen and stove in the RV are interchangeable, the sink and dressing table are interchangeable, the toilet and shower room in the toilet are interchangeable, how the TV and air conditioner fix the air conditioner, and how all the curtains, appliances, facilities, cabinets and things in the cabinets are fixed...
The living room we live in is next to a large balcony. Sitting on the balcony, we can see the fjord in front of us...
The RV we live in has no shower and toilet. The camp has public toilet, shower and public kitchen... This camp also has normal rooms to reserve, which are all in the two-story building as shown below...
There are also several children's facilities in the camp, such as the "children's slide", trampoline, small slide, small swing...
On August 12, as before, I woke up naturally, ate my breakfast, cleaned up the tableware and kitchenware, threw the garbage into the unified big dustbin, and set out!!
Today we went to Bergen, the second largest city in Norway and our last stop in Norway.
The RV camp we lived in last night was on the hillside. We went down the hillside in five minutes. It was the gas station where we saw the "locomotive party" refueling yesterday. Across the road from the gas station is the ferry pier of this town, which is the location of the blue dot on the navigation map... Because our destination today is Bergen, the last stop in N
