Like the climate of other Southeast Asian countries, Cambodia has only dry season and rainy season. The rainy season is from April to October every year, and the dry season is from November to March next year. The second time I went to Cambodia with my father was in the rainy season. Compared with the vigorous and simple Angkor Wat in the dry season, Angkor Wat in the rainy season is more lively. The exquisite stone carvings are covered with green moss, and the ancient trees are lush. Under the infiltration of rain, the stone surface is full of texture color.
Although it was the second time I went to Angkor Wat, the route I took my father was almost the same as the first time. I made up for the lake tonle sap that I didn't go to the first time. It's a very happy thing to travel with my father, because someone finally took a picture for me! After returning from my first trip to Cambodia, I posted a lot of blog posts. At that time, I was able to take photos of almost one temple. The second time, I took few photos, almost all of them were taken by my father. However, Angkor Wat still has some angles that I can't get tired of. This blog post is a memorial of my visit to Angkor Wat with my father. I hope it will be Turkey when I travel with my father.
Angkor city has five gates, one in the north, one in the West and one in the south, and two in the East. Among them, the south gate, which has been completely restored, is the most popular. However, there are so many tourists on the main passage to Angkor city that it is not easy to take good photos.
When I first came to bayong Temple four years ago, there were very few people. Maybe it was because I went to bayong temple after watching the sunrise in Angkor. There were not many tourists in the early morning. The second time I took my father, there were many tourists. They were all black heads. It's hard to find a clean corner and take a few pictures of no one. But it's not like they were in bayong temple
As like as two peas in the Bayon, one of the hottest locations in the movie is to make my father take a photo of me exactly the same angle as he did four years ago. It's wonderful to return to two pictures.
Bantisema temple is a temple that I strongly recommend after my first visit to Angkor Wat. After four years, it is still so amazing. There are almost no tourists in the whole temple, enjoying the beauty of the moment quietly.
Bantisema Temple surprised me again. I met a few kittens here, crawling and jumping among the stones. It was so cute.
Although the temple of tomanon is not a popular temple, it is a good place to take portraits. There are few tourists. It is in the north of zhousa temple.
In the temple of tomanon, I ran into a young man who was waiting for a tourist who was willing to practice English with him. He leaned against the window and laughed at me. Dad captured the "story" very well
Bengmili is still the same. It is still one of the most mysterious temples in Angkor. The last time I came here was in the dry season. I didn't expect that the rainy season was more beautiful. However, the road is relatively difficult to walk and very slippery.
Originally, I didn't do this trip. I was worried that it was hard to walk in the rainy season. I was afraid that my father would sprain his feet. I didn't expect that he was more flexible than me. He walked faster than me. He could easily walk through the rocks and play with me
I didn't expect that it turned into a pond in the rainy season. When the dry season came, the ground was dry and there was no water. I could walk directly from the ground to the opposite side.
Bengmilie is also a good place to make portraits. The effect of many places is very good.
Bengmilie in rainy season is much more beautiful than that in dry season, which makes people feel that "the whole temple is submerged in the tropical rain forest". The trees are lush and the roots are glossy, which makes people feel that it is a living relic.
The rocks are covered with green moss, which is much more colorful than the dry season.
One of the most famous scenic spots in Angkor is a huge ancient tree that completely crushed the eastern temple.
We all come to see this ancient tree. There are so many tourists coming in and out. We have to wait to take pictures of nobody
The whole gate is completely covered by the root system of a big tree. The gate and the tree are integrated into one, and the four pagodas behind the gate accompany each other for thousands of years.
The Queen's palace is a pearl on the crown of Angkor art. There are the best stone carvings in the world in the temple. The Queen's palace is well preserved. Many stone carvings in the temple are three-dimensional. The Queen's palace in rainy season is delicate and elegant, fresh and refined, and its color is much softer than that in dry season.
The history of the Queen's palace is longer than that of Angkor brother, and the most beautiful central hall is decorated with luxurious statues, with a large number of statues, almost perfect.
Shengjian temple is one of the largest temples in Angkor. There are intricate Memorial corridors, exquisite sculptures and mossy boulders. Shengjian temple is also well preserved. There are two giant ancient trees growing on the parapet outside the east gate, and the roots are tied together.
It's a strange Greek two-story building, and its purpose is still unclear.
Compared with the bustling south gate, the east gate is much more clean. I can be found in this photo taken by my father
Dad even took my work photos. In his lens, I was like this
And then this is what I see in the camera
Angkor in the rainy season is really a wonderful wife. The accumulated water forms a pond, and the reflection of Angkor in the water is more atmospheric.
The first time I didn't look for "in the mood for love" carefully. In the end, Liang Chaowei said that it was a secret place. This time, I specially came to make up for it. I can see this place by climbing to the highest tower of little Angkor overlooking the inner courtyard.
The beauty performing in Angkor is mending her makeup.
Tabulung temple has written a separate article before: complete Atlas of tabulung Temple: listen to the heartbeat of the millennium old trees, you can check it in my blog.
When I came to Cambodia this time, I found that there were fewer monks than when I first came here, and I didn't get a few of the humanistic films I wanted to shoot. On this day, I watched the sunset in Bakun mountain, and finally I saw a little master secretly take a picture
During the rainy season, the sunset on Bakun mountain is not very beautiful. I don't see the whole sun falling into the horizon. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see Donglisa lake from a distance. I'll write the next one alone. I have a very exciting experience with my father there.
