It happened that the trip of my friends at the end of the year was so happy. But because Chang doesn't have much annual leave, I can only travel for 6 days. From December 19 to December 24, 2013, we flew from Guangzhou to Bangkok on the morning of the 19th, took a train from Bangkok on the evening of the 19th to watch the sunrise for 9 hours, arrived in the old city of Chiang Mai on the morning of the 20th, rented a motorcycle to leave Pai on the afternoon of the 21st, returned to Chiang Mai from Pai motorcycle on the noon of the 23rd, returned to Bangkok on the 24th, and then flew back to Guangzhou. Such is the itinerary, which means that the preparation I have to do is visa, air ticket, train ticket and hotel.

Visa: ID card, household register and photo (blue background is one inch big, remember to find the photo on the street, it's super expensive in the application hall, generally 5 or 6, 2 passports, 2 visa). Make an appointment to apply for an overseas passport in the application hall, and those who have a passport will skip this point directly. As for the visa, because Chang's sister is in the travel agency, we gave her the photo, passport and 230 yuan to sign for us. Air ticket: at the beginning, I inquired about Air Asia. Many people know that there are many special tickets for Air Asia. But after comparison, I found that the price of Air Asia is not much different from the round-trip ticket of China Southern Airlines bought by Ctrip, so I, a lazy person, chose the round-trip ticket of China Southern Airlines directly, The air ticket of Chiang Mai back to Bangkok is also reserved by Ctrip for Bangkok airlines. PS: to remind the first time to go abroad, the time on the ticket is local time. For example, Thailand is one hour slower than China. The plane from Chiang Mai to Bangkok takes off at 12 o'clock, so you only need to arrive at the airport around 10 o'clock local time in Thailand to get ready. You don't need to calculate the time difference of that hour.

Train tickets: when I inquired online, I said it was difficult to get tickets on that day. However, because the online booking had been cancelled at the beginning of 2013, I had to take a chance on the spot just in case I also found a bus to the passenger station in Chiang Mai. Hotel: I'm used to booking domestic hotels with Ctrip. Because the consumption in Thailand is relatively low, we plan to be forthright in hotels this time. DAY . 1

Originally, the ticket started on the evening of the 18th, but Ctrip announced that the flight had been cancelled and changed to the morning of the 19th. It was just that one morning's journey to watch the sunrise at the airport was missing, which had little impact. So it was decided. The 8:30 a.m. plane, get up more than 5 o'clock to prepare, the day is not yet completely bright on the departure. Because of my work, I've had three flights this month because of shooting, and there are still three flights in the next journey. I used to envy others, and it was really tiring to take so many flights... Chang's first flight was dedicated to me, and it's still going abroad, and the annual oil journey starts!!

Guangzhou airport boarding process is not said, more than I have experience. Because we wanted to have a romantic encounter, I chose the front and back window seats for the plane. For the first experience of Achang, the seat next to me was empty, ha ha ha, while a couple who had not been married for a long time sat next to me. The first stop of this trip was Bangkok, so we must take a picture for them.

When I get to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, my first feeling is warm!! Many of the signs are in English, Thai and Chinese, so even those who don't understand English can basically understand them. Fortunately, I still keep some English in my high school, and I can cope with them everyday. Here is an episode. The flight attendants will distribute the entry and exit forms. You can choose to fill in the forms on the plane or after getting off the plane before entering the country. If you don't understand English, you can ask the flight attendants or read the Chinese instructions in the sample area of the forms after getting off the plane. When the customs officers collect your entry form, they will tear off the exit form and seal it to you. This form must be kept and submitted when you go back to China to check in.

After passing the customs, I took my luggage and bought a phone card at the gate of the airport. In fact, there was a free phone card at the airport, but we couldn't find it, so we bought one directly at the gate. We forgot its name. The signal showed that it was dtac, 399 baht, 7-day unlimited 3G traffic, 100 yuan local phone charges, a little more than one yuan a minute after calling back. I think it's super cheap. I bought one for one person, My iPhone 4S can be used directly. The 5 card is relatively small. I don't know if it can be used. Because we were afraid that there was no ticket for the train, we left the station immediately after getting off the plane. There is an episode here. After the subway connecting line, we directly chose taxis. Because it's not far away, it won't be very expensive, but we were cheated. Many of our predecessors have said that taxis must tell him to dial the meter or ask the price directly. This method is also applicable to Tutu. Although the taxi meter is calculated, the last 80 yuan, but asked the driver, but said 200, plus luggage can not be so much, right? But because we are in a hurry to buy train tickets, we have no time to fight with him. When I went to the railway station, I saw the timetable of the train. The latest time for the express train was 19:30. I had to choose this one. I communicated with the conductor in the simplest English and bought the upper and lower beds of the sleeper. The two people were more than 1300 baht in total.

After buying the ticket, I felt relaxed. I had more than four hours to set out and strolled around the railway station. There are mainly hardware and pawn shops nearby. There is nothing to eat. I asked the owner of a laundry and said that he would eat more when he went to the northwest. I started immediately and met this interesting car in front of the store.

When we came to an unknown local restaurant, we encountered our first problem. The restaurant's menu is not in Chinese and English, only in Thai, and there are no pictures. We can't understand it at all. But at this time, our first benefactor appeared. An aunt who came to the restaurant to eat probably guessed that we were foreign tourists, so she used her short English to communicate with us, such as "noodles", "spicy", "big bowl" and other words to help us order this bowl of food, which I irresponsibly named "qingtangzahefen". The price is only 25 baht, but the taste is absolutely super value. My aunt really didn't recommend it wrong! As for why I didn't consult the waiter directly, it was because I said "one more" later that none of the waiters understood it. Only a boy who came to work late knew what it meant. When we were hungry, I really appreciate this aunt's coming forward, However, it is the same reason that I occasionally see foreign friends helping to communicate with waiters when ordering meals at McDonald's. on the contrary, I feel satisfied. The people who are helped will also be willing to help others in the past days and take photos with their benefactor.

After eating the clear soup powder, we continued to stroll around for more than half an hour. We found a golden pointed thing, which was the first temple we photographed in Thailand. When we went to the neighborhood, ah Chang and I discussed that if the ticket was no more than 50B, we would buy tickets to go in and take photos. Unexpectedly, we found that all the people around the temple entered for free and took photos at will. Only the people inside the temple needed tickets. So we wandered around and took a few pictures.

When I was about to leave, I heard a familiar voice nearby, similar to the cry of the school sports meeting in middle school. Sure enough, close to the temple is a primary school. Looking at the clothes, it looks like a sports meeting jointly held by several schools. I don't know whether it's limited by the venue or different customs. There are few sports events here, but everyone enjoys them. Even if it's a successful height lifting, the noise is very high. This kind of scene is not available to a photographer. He doesn't want to be stingy with the cheap shutter. Maybe it's because there are only some parents and teachers taking pictures on the spot, and they all use mobile phones or advanced points to take pictures with iPad. Only we use SLR cameras, so we attracted a lady from the organizer to talk with us. Her name is OnOn. It turns out that this is a joint sports meeting of several schools organized by the government. She hopes that we can help to record the children's smiles and details of the activities, and update the photos on the summary of the activities on the official website. I readily agreed and left contact information for each other. It's more convenient to shoot after getting the pass, because I don't like that my shooting will affect the things that others are enjoying, just as I don't like the way some photographers take pictures of local residents in Tibet and add lyrical words to the photos. OnOn said hello to everyone. At the beginning, when the children saw me, they would subconsciously smile or avoid the camera. As time went by, they were used to my camera, and OnOn would adjust the atmosphere appropriately to show the most natural side of the children. This is also the scene that most people in my trip to Thailand put their hands together to say "sawadika" to me at the same time. This action and voice make me have a deep feeling. How high is the level of a nation's belief to make this simple salute have such deep enthusiasm? Different people have different tones, but the same action and the same look, A look that makes you feel sincere.

After the sports meeting, OnOn continued to chat with us and asked about our future itinerary. Then he told her that a friend had opened a coffee shop in Chiang Mai. Dinner is near the clear soup powder shop. There is a Japanese newspaper advertisement pasted on the door. There is a plate explaining the meal in Chinese. I can't remember the name clearly. It seems that I ordered something? Then I put on a bowl of very thick stuff, that is, a fried noodle with powdery syrup like thing, and then there was an egg. Because it didn't suit my taste, I had lost this memory. I just played with the dating software in a strange way... Later, he Chang also said that this stuff really didn't suit our taste.

Arriving at the railway station, I went to the convenience store to buy some drinks and food to satisfy my hunger on the train. After waiting for a few minutes, our train will arrive at the station. We can get on the train. The radio will tell us which train the train arriving at Chiang Mai stops at. After finding it, we can find our own lane number to get on the train. If you don't understand, you can ask the staff next to the train, because there is no one to check the ticket. Even if you don't have a ticket, you can get on the train directly. Only when the train leaves can the staff check the ticket. When I walk into the place where the train stops, my first feeling is like going to the station of "Harry Potter" to the magic school. However, as we were all carrying a lot of luggage and were ready to drive, we did not dare to spend time taking out the camera for shooting, because I thought that there should be such a scene when I arrived at the station, and it was in the daytime, so I just took a random picture with my mobile phone, and I still regret it.

After getting on the bus and finding a bed, we can really relax. The opposite bed in the upper berth is empty, while the friend in the lower berth arrives earlier than us. This is another friend of ours, ferrao. During the conversation, I learned that he came from New York, USA, and traveled here alone. For our clumsy English ability, he tried to choose simple English words to communicate with us. In the evening, I feel a little sleepy, so I turn on the weather software to check the local sunrise time, adjust the alarm clock, and then go to sleep. The train is more stable than the car, but there is still vibration when it stops at the station, so every time it sleeps soundly on the road and wakes up after arriving at the station. After 4 or 5 repetitions, it ushers in the alarm bell. After a simple wash, we wait for the sunrise that we have been looking forward to for a long time. Unfortunately, matching the sunrise scene is not the best choice, so we can only barely record it. PS: the air conditioning of the train is not stingy. The upper berth is relatively cold. It is recommended to wear one more long sleeve. It's best to have a coat.

DAY . 2

Finally I arrived at Pai's station. The vast and sunny outdoor scene made me happy and regretted that I missed the shooting of the retro station, but the journey continued.

After a few simple shots, we consulted the front desk about the location of our hotel. It seems that we are well-known and basically know how to get there. The boy at the railway station information told us that Tutu used to be about 150. Then we learned to be good. Instead of taking the bus at the gate of the station, we took the bus outside after walking for a minute or two. Unexpectedly, the female driver of Tutu didn't know the location and drove to the Tutu head, who was soliciting guests at the gate of the railway station for consultation. We were so stupid that we didn't confirm the price with her again. We thought it should be 150. After arriving, the driver just put us nearby, Because she didn't know the exact location. After asking about the price, she only heard one hundred, but she couldn't hear the following dozens. After giving her 200, she didn't want to change money at all. After we took the luggage and got off the car, she drove away

Wandering around looking for hotels, after walking for a while, a couple surnamed Liu accosted us in Mandarin. It turned out that they were Chinese tourists and asked us if we could help. Unexpectedly, they were in the same hotel with us. What a fate it was. It turns out that we just missed the hotel. We don't know. I just think the appearance of that hotel is beautiful. It turns out that it is. They just came back from Pai and shared their experience with us. Then they went to the hotel to check out and flew back to Bangkok in the evening. Originally, they had an appointment to have dinner together, but they couldn't catch up with the time, so they cancelled it, so they didn't plan to take the group photo for dinner. It's a pity.

This "jiangmeng Boutique Hotel" is my favorite hotel that I found out at the beginning. We were received by a girl who thought she was a girl in the blink of an eye. After carefully watching, she turned out to be a lady with a gentle and kind voice. Then I took a few pictures of their mother and daughter. It turned out that they were traveling and brought their daughter's clothes from Taobao clothing store for simple shooting. After simple communication, we didn't disturb their work. Chang and I took a few pictures of each other and continued to stroll. When she shared the photos after returning home, a friend recognized her as a goddess teacher of New Oriental IELTS.

In order to rent motorcycles to Pai tomorrow, we have consulted which company provides this service in advance, because some only provide local rental or return on the same day, so we need to make it clear. I can't see how old their children are!! They shared their travel with breakfast, and then taught them the basics of taking photos. I enjoy this kind of small talk in tourism. Chang and I never seek to catch up with scenic spots, but just open our hearts to communicate with people around us and take off the guard of the city. Because in daily life, if the people next to you talk about the topics you are interested in, you may not have this kind of mood to chat up, but when traveling, this has become a matter of course, so every time we travel, we will know a large group of friends. After breakfast, they went back to their rooms to pack up and check out. We were ready to leave Pai. They were ready to change hotels. When they checked out, they took a photo with the staff, but they wanted to invite them to eat terrace together.

For them, the taste here may not be very right, because they like spicy food, while we like sweet, salty and ordinary spicy food, so we think this restaurant is very suitable for our taste. We started when we filled up the gas. At first, we didn't get used to it. It took us 15 minutes to get familiar with it. It's still slow in the city. When we got to the suburbs, we almost ran 60-80. After solving the problem of speed on eyes, we didn't lower than 70 speed, especially when there was no traffic, we began to shout constantly, which was a cry that we couldn't let out in the town. All kinds of broad vision and exotic buildings along the way were not photographed for safety reasons. It's just right that the many beautiful scenery along the way should only be left to the people who ran along the road. Even so, we stopped unconsciously after we came to this section of the road, and we also felt that the sun was about to set. This is the last ten minutes that we can catch the sunset today（ Afterwards, when I shared the pictures on my mobile phone, my friend told me that this section of the road was the one where the car broke down in "Thai lost", because I had not seen the movie, and I'm not sure.)

The next road is the night and all black road. Because of the delay of lunch chat and the state of driving while taking pictures, we ushered in the most difficult but unforgettable experience. The distance around the mountain is about 70 kilometers, and it is estimated that there are about five street lights in the 70 kilometers. We tried to turn off the lights when we had a rest to experience the absolute dilemma of not seeing our fingers and the cold wind. The temperature in Thailand will drop about 6 or 7 degrees after night, and the mountain road is colder. This feeling is beyond words. The only thing we can see is our headlights. There are two or three headlights occasionally driving in 10 minutes. At this moment, the only way to cheer us up is to chat with each other side by side.

When Chang told me that his car was about to run out, we began to worry because we really didn't have psychological preparation. We didn't think that the mountain road would be so long. But maybe God bless us. At this time, there is a house with a stove. We decided to have a rest and get warm first. I didn't expect that this B & B has gasoline for sale. Maybe it's a good business based on the road condition and distance. After a simple rest, I continued on the road. After driving for only one minute, I felt that the just warming was meaningless. The only trace of warmth was taken away by the cold wind in an instant. At this time, we suddenly feel that the problem is a bit serious. In this case, we can't walk on mountain roads at a speed of more than 40.
